Guarantees and Store Policies
Denney Jewelers guarantees their jewelry is free from defects in material and workmanship for life. Denney Jewelers will, without charge, repair any defects, or if the item is not repairable replace your purchase with a comparable item. This guarantee does not cover damage that occurs in normal wear. This guarantee gives you specific legal rights.
Denney Jewelers assures the customer that our prices will be equal to or below the prices available anywhere in the United States. If, after the time of purchase or for a period of 90 days, an identical new item can be purchased for less, anywhere in the United States, the difference will be refunded. The requirements needed for a refund is that reasonable proof that the item is offered to the public and the jewelry is of equal quality.
Denney Jewelers guarantees the diamonds or colored stones you purchase were accurately graded and identified by a Certified Gemologist to the highest standards of the industry. If the diamond or colored stone is not equal to or better than stated, Denney Jewelers will replace it at no additional cost with a gem that is equal to or better than stated
Trade-in privileges: Full credit at current market values will be applied toward your purchase providing the new items price is at least twice the value of the trade in. Upgrade your diamond earrings at anytime and receive credit for the full purchase price or the current replacement value, whichever is greater.

Refund & Exchange Policy
Denney Jewelers will refund or exchange any item that was sold by us as a stock item from our showcase within 30 days of delivery, as long as it was not altered from it's original showcase condition. Special orders are excluded.
Items that are not refundable
A. Cast items from wax
B. Specially orders
C. Custom handmade items
D. Items that have been altered in any way.
We will remake the item for 50% of our regular labor charges within 30 days of delivery. There is no credit for the labor spent on the item previously.
Repair Department Guarantee
1. If we size the customer's finger and the size is incorrect, we will resize the customer's ring at NO CHARGE within 30 Days from the date of delivery. If we did not get to size the customer's finger and the ring was a casing, special order or is our new ring, we will resize the ring once at no charge, within 30 days of the deliver date.
2. If we size a ring to the customer's requested size and that size is incorrect, we will charge again to resize the ring.
3. We can only guarantee our ring sizing from the customer's finger. We cannot be given another ring to go by for size and be accurate.
4. The ring size on a ring will not change, but because a customer's finger can become larger or smaller because of diet, medication, the weather or weight change, we can only guarantee ring sizing for 30 days form the date of delivery of the ring.
Items not guaranteed:
Glued Items, Enameling, Rhodium Plating (We will rhodium plate any ring purchased from us for the life of the ring.), loss of any prong set stone that has 3 or less prongs, loss of any round stone over 1/2 carat unless it is set in a six prong gold setting or a four prong platinum setting, loss of any prong set stone unless it has the following number of prongs, watch repairs guaranteed for 12 months. We are unable to warranty against moisture if the watch is unable to seal out water and dust, a problem for watches

We do not assume responsibility of the loss of a single diamond and expensive colored gemstone above one carat. Customers will be provided with information on insurance and should have All risk insurance as a rider on their home owners insurance or through Jewelers Mutual insurance company.
8. Prong set stones that have thin prongs, missing prongs, or stones that are set crooked, leaving a much shorter prong on one side of the stone than the other
9. Bead setting where the beads are badly worn or some beads are missing or stones that are set crooked, leaving part of the girdle of the stone to be sticking up beyond the surface of the metal.
10. Channel setting where either the channel is very thin, torn, not straight across from the stones or there is no support underneath the cannels to hold them together. Example: No cross wires or support to keep the channel from pulling away leaving the stone to loosen up or fall out.
Tightening & Checking
1. Tightening stones: Our extra fee charged to check and tighten stone will warranty against stone loss as long as the stones are set properly which will be disclose during inspection. We do not warranty the stones against loss, except for ring sizing.
2. Checking links - When asked to "check links" on rivets, chains, bracelets, clasps, etc., we cannot guarantee their loss or durability. Many items cannot be checked without taking them completely apart. This will causes the item to have to be repaired just because of the disassembly. Many items that are wearing OK today may have a problem days or weeks later. We can only guarantee items that we actually repaired, not ones we visually inspect.
3. Re-tipped prongs on stones - We cannot guarantee the loss of a stone when we do not re-tip or re-prong all of the prongs when we deem it necessary to repair all of the prongs or tips.
Gems & Diamonds
1. We do not guarantee that a diamond or gemstone, once taken out of our store will not chip, break, scratch, or fracture. No stone, including a diamond, can be guaranteed not to break, chip, scratch or fracture. We strongly suggest insuring your jewelry with our homeowner’s policy or separate insurance. They will cover the damage if all risk insurance is chosen.
2. We can not be responsible for the future fracture or damage to stones or diamonds that are received form the customer that are already damaged, chipped, broken, or have large inclusions or imperfections. We will inform the customers of the items before proceeding with the repair or installation work.
Special Items
1. We will exchange or remake (no refunds) any item listed below within
30 days of delivery
A: Cast items from wax, either a showcase wax or hand carved.
Will remake one time only.
B. Items specially ordered for the customer from an outside vendor.
C. Handmade items whether fabricated or casted.
D. Showcase or stock items that have been altered in any way other than
ring sizing.
Remake Items
1. There will be no additional charges to remake an item except for those that would have been incurred by the customer in the beginning as long as the item to be remade within 30 days of the delivery date.
IE: If the customer who spent $400 in the beginning has something remade that now cost $550, then the additional charge would be the difference of $150
2. If, after remaking the item, the amount that would have to be spent is less than the original price, we will refund only the product bout as long as they are in the original condition. Chains that have been cut to fit are not refundable.
The customer will be issued an in-store credit for labor and products that are not refundable. An in-store credit can be used like money in our store to purchase other items or can be used to purchase our services or labor.
Deposit on CAD/CAM designs
1. Computer aided design is the newest and one of the best ways to de3sign and manufacture jewelry. Because of the expertise required to master this technology and craft and because of the expense of the program, computer and mill, There will be a $100 non refundable design fee for any design we create.
