The 2010 Design Event at Denney Jewelers
This year's amazing Design Event will be held at Denney Jewelers on Saturday, September 18, 2010 from 10am - 8pm!
Join us this year for the region's largest jewelry show with top designers from around the country. You will be able to meet representatives from Tacori, Verragio, and many more and try on their latest fashions in fine jewelry.
We'll have 24 months Same-as-Cash Financing available on this one day only, so stop by to take part in this exciting annual event.

In Memoriam, Ray R. Denney, 1927 - 2010. Our Founder, Father, and Friend.
Ray R. Denney, 82, the founder of Denney Jewelers, died Monday, July 5, 2010, at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville.
He was born October 28, 1927, in Roodhouse, the son of Clarence W. and Flutie Poor Denney. He married Marilyn Harp on October 3, 1948, in Roodhouse; and she survives.
Ray Denney was a Certified Master Watchmaker and Master Jeweler for over 40 years. Traveling salesmen spread word of his skills, and Ray worked in stores in White Hall, Springfield, Pittsfield, and Virden before settling in Jacksonville as a watchmaker at Crawford Jewelers in 1954. [ READ MORE ]

Thank you so much for helping us reach our goal for Multiple Sclerosis! With your support, we raised over $12,000 for Multiple Sclerosis and moved closer to a world free from MS.
The National MS Society, Greater Illinois Chapter helps fund important research that may lead to better ways to combat MS and its symptoms, hopefully one day leading to a cure. While we work towards a cure, the MS Society continues to advocate and provide awareness though educational, social and support programs for people living with MS.

There is also a science to jewelry design. Will the placement of a stone be supported by the setting? Will the design fit on the surface area in a pleasing manner? Will the idea translate correctly when it's explained to a jeweler and a designer?

Join us at the MaSquerade for Multiple Sclerosis on May 1
Denney Jewelers is holding the MaSquerade for Multiple Sclerosis, a benefit for the National MS Society, Greater Illinois Chapter on May 1, 2010 from 7-10 pm at the Ambassador Ballroom at the Springfield Hilton.
This exciting event will be a costume party complete with dancing, a live band, refreshments, and a silent auction. It's going to be a ball!
This is a very personal fundraiser for the Denney family as the youngest daughter, Christina, was diagnosed with MS in August 2009. We also have several friends who are afflicted with this disease.
All money collected from this event will be donated to the National MS Society, Greater Illinois Chapter through the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls in Illinois. We chose to make our donation through the IORG because of Christina's close affiliation with them and because MS is their state charity project for the year.
Tickets are $20 and may be purchased at Denney Jewelers or by calling 217.787.0500. With your support, we hope to make this a resounding success and help find the cure for Multiple Sclerosis.
Announcing the Winner of the MS Diamond Earring Raffle!
We had another fabulous annual holiday party here at Denney Jewelers on Thursday, November 19, and we hope everyone thoroughly enjoyed the live music, food, drinks, conversation, and fine jewelry.
This year we celebrated you--our great customers who have supported us for 55 sparking years! Thank you for enjoying jewelry with us for so long, and we look forward to another memorable holiday season with you this year.
At the party, we also featured a 1/2 ct Diamond Stud Earring raffle giveaway with 100% of the donations going to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. We've already raised nearly $3,000, and will continue our efforts through next summer.
Thank you so much to everyone who has been so generous to our MS fundraiser as these efforts are so personally important to the Denney family.
9th Annual Denim & Diamonds on October 2, 2009
This year's Denim & Diamonds Event features an elegant evening of dinner, entertainment, and live and silent auctions ... and, of course, fabulous denim fashion mixed with dazzling diamonds!
